Job Summary:Rio Grande Banqueting Hall is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Waiters/Waitresses to join our hospitality team on a part-time and seasonal basis. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional service at weddings, walimas, mehndi celebrations, birthdays, corporate functions, and private events, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience. Rio Grande hosts events for up to 800 guests and provides full table service with experienced waiting staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Set up banqueting tables with crockery, cutlery, glassware and linen before events.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Clear tables promptly and keep dining areas clean and presentable throughout events.
- Assist with buffet service and beverage stations when required.
- Support the kitchen and events team to ensure smooth event operations.
- Respond politely and efficiently to guest requests and enquiries.
- Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures at all times.
- Assist with cleaning and resetting the venue after events.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high standards of hospitality.
