Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow during shifts
- Lead by example in serving guests with enthusiasm, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Assist with food preparation and cooking when necessary to support kitchen operations
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional hospitality
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and create a positive dining experience
- Oversee food production processes, including plating and presentation standards for dishes served
- Support barista activities when required, including beverage preparation and customer engagement
- Maintain a lively atmosphere by coordinating service activities and ensuring team cohesion
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse staff members
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, serving, and culinary techniques
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, food production processes, and kitchen operations
- Previous hotel or barista experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high energy levels
