Lumos Experiences produces intimate, Candlelit Classical, Opera and Jazz music events across the UK. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Event Crew & Driver to be our one-person powerhouse on private hire events — someone who takes pride in their work, presents themselves professionally and genuinely enjoys being part of a brilliant live event experience.

What you'll be doing:
Driving & equipment logistics
Load, transport and unload event equipment safely and efficiently using a Lumos van. You'll be responsible for ensuring kit is properly secured, accounted for and handled with care throughout.
Set up & pack down
On longer shifts you'll manage the full setup and pack-down of event spaces — arranging equipment, checking presentation and leaving the venue exactly as agreed. A sharp eye for detail is key.
Client liaison
As a direct point of contact on private hire events, you'll represent Lumos with warmth and professionalism. A great manner with clients is essential — you're the face of the experience.
Team coordination
On events with additional crew, you'll step into a lead role — delegating clearly, keeping the team focused and ensuring everything runs to schedule and standard.
What we're looking for
Essential
Full UK driving licence with confidence driving a van. Physically able to load, unload and handle event equipment. Polished, professional presentation and strong people skills. Highly organised with great attention to detail. Comfortable leading a small team when required. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and longer event days.
Desirable
Knowledge of sound and audio-visual equipment used in live events. Previous experience in events, logistics or hospitality.
Pay: From £25.00 per hour
