Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Mobile Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our clients premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, monitoring surveillance equipment, and responding promptly to security incidents. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and proactive security measures are essential.
Duties
- Conduct mobile patrols of clients premises using company vehicles or on foot to deter unauthorised access and identify potential security risks
- Monitor CCTV systems continuously to observe activity and detect suspicious behaviour or breaches of security protocols
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to security alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting theft or vandalism activities
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and any irregularities observed during shifts
- Liaise with emergency services when required
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to safety and security
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff courteously while maintaining a secure environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in security or related fields is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques, CCTV operation, and loss prevention strategies is advantageous
- Valid first aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already held
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations
- Physically fit with the ability to patrol large areas on foot or via vehicle as required
- Strong communication skills with a professional demeanour
- Must hold a valid driving licence suitable for operating company vehicles
