Evening Bakery Packer & Driver – Permanent Evening Shift | Artisan Bakery | Park Royal
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Evening Packer & Driver to join our artisan bakery team in Park Royal.
This is a key role in our evening operation, helping pack and dispatch fresh bakery products for our wholesale customers across London. You’ll be responsible for ensuring products are packed accurately, loaded efficiently and ready for delivery each night.
This role suits someone who enjoys being active, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in doing things properly.
Shift Details
- Permanent evening shift
- 5–6 shifts per week (including weekends)
- Start time: 5:30pm
- Finish time: when production and loading are completed (typically between 11:00pm–1:00am)
Daily Responsibilities
- Moving company vans into loading position
- Slicing, packing and wrapping breads and bakery products
- Labelling and checking customer orders
- Loading bakery products onto company vehicles
- Supporting colleagues to ensure deliveries leave on time
- Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK Driving Licence (required)
- Must be aged 25+ for insurance purposes when driving company vehicles
- Reliable, punctual and able to commit to evening shifts
- Able to reliably travel to and from Park Royal, including after midnight finishes
- Candidates based locally or with a practical late-night commute are preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving bakery boxes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Previous packing, warehouse, bakery or food production experience preferred (training provided)
- Food safety knowledge is beneficial
