Learning Support Assistant – Chesterfield

A specialist school in the Chesterfield area is seeking a motivated Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with additional needs both inside and outside the classroom.
The ideal candidate will be patient, compassionate and resilient, with the ability to adapt their approach to meet individual pupils’ needs. You’ll work closely with teachers and support staff to encourage engagement, independence and positive behaviour.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a passion for working with children and young people
- Be confident and patient when supporting pupils with SEND
- Have a positive and flexible attitude
- Be able to build strong relationships with pupils
- Be committed to helping every child reach their potential
- Have previous experience with SEND or education (desirable)
