Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. Duties
- Prepare and cook a range of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, pastries, and other specialised dishes
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient sourcing as required
- Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or supply issues promptly
- Serve breakfast dishes to guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
- Adhere to food safety standards at all times, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and food hygiene regulations
- Experience in meal preparation for breakfast menus preferred
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Previous experience in serving or customer service is advantageous
- Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are desirable but not essential
