Summary
We are looking to recruit a Security Officer for night shifts on a Saturday and Sunday. The shift times are 19.00 to 07.00 hours to be offered in the week as ad hoc covering sickness and holidays.
Applicants must have the highest standards in terms of appearance, communication, professionalism and be able to recognise and uphold matters which are strictly confidential.
It is a strict requirement of this project that all applicants must have at least two (2) years of experience within the commercial security sector.
Responsibilities
- Patrolling
- Locking/unlocking
- Monitoring CCTV
- Responding to alarms
- Access/egress control
- Issuing and control of keys
- Handling lost property
Requirements
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
- Must have good IT skills and confident in the use of Microsoft suite
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergencies
