Home Care/Support Worker – Role Overview

Our Home Care Workers support adults to live safely, comfortably and independently in their own homes. You’ll provide practical help, emotional support and meaningful interaction that reflects each person’s unique needs, preferences and routines.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Supporting with meal preparation, medication prompts and daily living tasks
- Offering companionship, conversation and emotional reassurance
- Assisting with light household tasks to maintain a safe, comfortable home
- Encouraging independence, confidence and choice
- Supporting individuals to access the community, appointments and activities
- Recording clear, accurate notes to ensure continuity of care
