Role Description
The Head of Strategic Delivery plays a critical role in helping Academy Music Group deliver its strategic objectives across its portfolio of venues and live entertainment businesses.
Working closely with the Executive Team, the role acts as a trusted advisor, facilitator and delivery lead, ensuring that strategic priorities are translated into clear action plans and successfully executed across the organisation.
The role is responsible for driving accountability, improving cross-functional collaboration and ensuring that key business initiatives remain on track, on budget and aligned with AMG's strategic objectives.
Acting as the bridge between strategy and execution, the Head of Strategic Delivery provides oversight of major projects, business planning processes and organisational priorities, helping the Executive Team maintain focus on the initiatives that will deliver the greatest impact.
The role combines strategic business partnering, programme management, operational improvement and project delivery to support the continued growth and evolution of Academy Music Group.

Essential
- Significant experience operating in a strategic delivery, programme management, business transformation, consulting or senior project leadership role.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, high-value projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business performance drivers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong presentation and report writing capability.
- Experience preparing Executive Team and Board-level papers and presentations.
- Ability to influence outcomes without direct line management authority.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Teams.
Desirable
- Experience within live entertainment, events, hospitality, leisure or venue operations.
- Formal project management qualification such as PRINCE2, MSP, Agile or equivalent.
- Experience of business transformation, organisational change or operational improvement programmes.
- Knowledge of governance, compliance and risk management frameworks.

What the role includes
Drive Delivery
- Own the execution of AMG's strategic priorities, ensuring initiatives are delivered at pace and obstacles are removed quickly.
Improve Commercial Performance
- Work with venue leadership to identify opportunities that increase revenue, strengthen promoter relationships and improve venue utilisation.
Deliver Capital Investment
- Prioritise and accelerate AMG's capital programme, ensuring projects deliver maximum commercial value and are completed efficiently.
Lead Across the Business
- Act on behalf of the Executive Team to align departments, challenge performance and drive accountability across the organisation.
Improve the Business
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, governance, collaboration and operational performance.
Single point of truth
- Act as the central point of accountability for business information across the Academy Music Group portfolio, ensuring the Executive Team and Board have access to accurate, timely and consistent reporting. Own the integrity of business data, performance metrics and KPIs, providing both regular reporting and rapid analysis in response to emerging business priorities. This role will ensure leadership decisions are based on a single, trusted version of the truth.
- Lead the preparation and quality assurance of Board and Executive reporting, ensuring papers are insightful, commercially focused and aligned across all business functions. Challenge data where necessary, identify inconsistencies and ensure recommendations are supported by robust analysis.
