About the Role
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our growing engineering team, covering the South London area.
Working from home and travelling directly to customer sites in your company van, you will carry out repairs, servicing and maintenance on a wide range of commercial cleaning equipment.
You may already have experience within field service engineering, commercial equipment, domestic appliances, mechanical maintenance or similar technical environments. Most importantly, you will enjoy solving problems, working independently and delivering excellent customer service.
Full product training will be provided on our industry-leading equipment.
What You'll Do
- Carry out repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance on customer equipment.
- Diagnose faults and undertake troubleshooting activities.
- Liaise with customers to deliver excellent service.
- Order and manage spare parts as required.
- Complete service documentation and records accurately.
- Manage repair follow-ups and warranty work.
- Provide customers with advice on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Work independently whilst effectively managing your own workload and travel.
About You
You will:
- Have a mechanical or technical mindset.
- Enjoy diagnosing and fixing problems.
- Be customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Be able to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Be flexible and willing to learn.
- Have good IT skills and attention to detail.
- Take pride in your appearance and professionalism.
The following would be advantageous:
- Previous field service engineering experience.
- Experience repairing commercial or domestic equipment.
You must hold a full UK driving licence and have suitable parking for a company vehicle at home.
