We are currently seeking a Stores Advisor to be based in our Aberdeen Office.
The role will involve working in a busy stores department reporting directly to the Parts Supervisor. The main role of this position is to be the point of contact for the engineers however you will be required to get involved in the other areas of the stores department when required to.
This position would be based on a 42.5 hour Week.
The main duties of this position are:
- To be the main point of contact for the Workshop engineers by issuing parts & materials
- Identifying Parts through computerised systems
- Parts Purchasing
- Assist with maintaining stock Levels
- Processing of Materials requisitions
- Placing orders through a computerised system
- Receiving of goods when required
- Dealing with enquiries by E-mail & Telephone
- Stores experience beneficial but not essential
The successful candidate will possess the following
A good telephone manner & be conscientious
Have the ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
Experience in the Plant/Machinery Hire Industry would be an advantage but not essential
Full Valid Driving Licence would be an advantage but not essential.
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
