Looking for two part or one full time staff member to join our team on a part time basis to cover the weighbridge and general office duties in our small but busy scrap yard.
you will need good communication and customer service skills and be able to multitask.
We are looking for someone to cover Mon- Wed 8am-5pm OR Thur-Sat 8am-5pm (Saturday is till 2pm) (The full time position is availble)

All training will be given, so please don't worry if you have no experience on a weighbridge but office experience and customer skills is preferred.
As a Weighbridge Operator, you will be responsible for accurately recording and documenting the weight of incoming and outgoing vehicles. This is an important role that ensures the smooth operation of our facility. We use a scrap metal computer system to record all the information so being computer literate is essential.
Duties:
- Operate and maintain the weighbridge system to accurately record vehicle weights
- Collect and record data on incoming and outgoing vehicles, including weight, time, and other relevant information
- Communicate with staff members.
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping
