We're looking for an experienced Front of House Manager for our new opening on the side of the Malvern Hills. With incredible views across to Wales, this is set to become a real destination, forming part of our wider FAUN offering across the Malvern area.
The Front of House Manager is responsible for the overall guest experience, service standards, and front-of-house operations.
You will lead and inspire the front-of-house team, ensuring service is warm, efficient, professional, and consistent with the Faun brand. You will work closely with the kitchen leadership team and wider management group to drive operational performance while maintaining a positive and people-focused culture.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong organisation, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Hospitality
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences at every stage of service
- Maintain warm, welcoming, and attentive hospitality standards
- Resolve guest feedback and issues professionally and positively
- Ensure the atmosphere, presentation, and cleanliness of the site consistently reflect the Faun brand
Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and develop front-of-house teams
- Manage staffing levels and rotas in line with labour targets
- Recruit, train, and onboard new team members
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable culture
Operational Management
- Oversee the smooth running of day-to-day front-of-house operations
- Ensure efficient service flow during busy periods
- Maintain high standards across opening, closing, and shift procedures
- Support stock management for beverages, retail, and front-of-house supplies
Commercial Performance
- Drive labour efficiency and operational productivity
- Support achievement of sales targets and spend-per-head growth
- Monitor service performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Contribute to site profitability through strong operational management
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Head Chefs and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership and site teams
- Support implementation of new menus, promotions, and events
- Contribute ideas to improve the guest experience and site performance
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Experience managing a front-of-house team within hospitality
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passion for hospitality and guest experience
- Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure
- Strong organisational and operational skills
Desirable
- Experience within premium café, brunch, bakery, or restaurant environments
- Strong coffee and service knowledge
- Experience managing high-volume daytime trade
- Interest in independent hospitality and community-led businesses

This will be a largely daytime focused role, with two-three evenings a week.
Pay: From £34,000.00 per year
