We are seeking an experienced and reliable wood machinist/Edge Band Operator to join our busy manufacturing/production team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining Homag edge banding machinery to produce high-quality finished panels as well as supporting wider production tasks where required.
Key responsibilities
- Operate edge banding machines safely and efficiently
- Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Perform minor machine maintenance and report faults
- Manage daily workflow to meet production targets
Skills & experience
- Previous experience operating edge banding equipment
- Good understanding of woodworking or panel manufacturing
- Problem solving skills and ability to work to deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 43.75 per week
