The Role
As Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the sales function and acting as a key point of contact for customers. You will help ensure customer orders are processed efficiently while providing timely updates and resolving day-to-day issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing customer orders and raising order confirmations.
- Maintaining accurate customer and product information within company systems.
- Communicating directly with customers regarding orders, deliveries, pricing, product availability and general enquiries.
- Providing customers with delivery updates, ETAs and information relating to delivery schedule changes.
- Liaising with internal departments including:
- Finance regarding credits and invoicing queries
- Operations regarding customer delivery and service requests
- Purchasing regarding product availability and pricing.
- Transport regarding deliveries, collection requests and customer delivery requirements.
- Technical regarding customer complaints, specifications and quality-related matters.
- Investigating and resolving customer issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Preparing and distributing customer order summaries and reports.
- Supporting marketing activities including managing customer email campaigns and Mailchimp communications.
- Building strong relationships with customers and acting as a trusted point of contact.
- Providing general administrative support to the wider commercial team.
