Job Summary
We're looking for a reliable and friendly Delivery Driver to join our team at Clarity Arts.
The role involves loading, transporting and delivering high-quality cabinetry and appliances to our customers. Many of the items we deliver are valuable and made to order, so we're looking for someone who handles products with care, and enjoys providing great customer service.
You'll be one of the main faces of the business when meeting customers, so a professional and positive attitude is important.
Candidates should be comfortable driving a 3.5-tonne van and working a 45-hour week.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive company vehicles to complete deliveries.
- Load and unload cabinetry, appliances and other products, ensuring they are properly secured during transport.
- Handle all items with care and attention to avoid damage.
- Deliver products to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Work with the warehouse and installation teams to ensure deliveries are prepared and loaded correctly.
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean and tidy.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Confident driving a 3.5-tonne van.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Able to lift and move heavy items safely.
- A careful and organised approach to loading and transporting goods.
- Previous delivery driving experience is preferred but not essential.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
