We are a family-run hotel in Buttermere, and we are looking for a enthusiastic Front of House Assistant (approximately 24 hours a week or more if required) to join our close-knit team. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming environment for our guests, and we want our team members to feel just as valued and at home.
What You’ll Be Doing
No two days are quite the same here, but your main role will be making our guests feel welcome. We offer two main shift patterns to fit around your lifestyle:
- Breakfast and lunch shifts
- Lunch and evening shifts
Your tasks will include greeting guests, taking food and drink orders, serving delicious meals, and ensuring our dining areas stay tidy and welcoming.

- Independent Transport: Because of our beautiful, rural location, public transport is limited, so your own transport is required.
