Main Activities, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Customer service - Assist customers with any queries. Deal professionally with any issues customers may experience and offer a high level of customer service at all times.
- To ensure that customers are quickly & efficiently served through the checkouts and EPoS equipment is used as directed.
- Merchandising of gardening sundries - Carry out re-stocking of the indoor sales departments, including all steps from unpacking deliveries through to final display as required
- Customer orders - Ensure all customer orders via telephone or internally are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner
- Ensure all relevant and current health and safety legislation is adhered to
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor or any other Department Manager
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a garden centre or similar retail environment
- Experienced of using EPoS retail systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to form effective working relationships with colleagues
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
