Hours: Monday to Friday | 5 hours per day (25 hours per week)
Beacon House is a 29 bedroom care home, boasting views of the river Dart.

As we expand, we're looking for a Maintenance Technician who can ensure that our care home is kept in excellent condition, providing a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key part in the upkeep of Beacon House. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine maintenance on internal and external areas of our buildings.
- Responding promptly to repair requests, addressing issues such as leaks, faulty appliances, and fixtures.
- Conducting inspections to identify potential safety hazards and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining outdoor areas including paving, walkways and waste storage areas.
- Conducting regular equipment checks and logging maintenance activities.
- Testing fire safety systems and water temperatures in line with health and safety protocols.

Requirements:
- Experience in general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- A commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
- Vocational training in maintenance or related fields is preferred but not essential.
