We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused Multi-Drop Driver to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service, and is committed to safe and efficient driving.
You'll be responsible for delivering goods to customers across planned routes, ensuring deliveries are completed accurately, on time, and in line with company safety standards. The role also involves loading and unloading vehicles, completing delivery paperwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently using a company vehicle equipped with a tail lift.
- Plan and follow delivery routes to maximise efficiency and meet delivery schedules.
- Load and unload goods safely, ensuring all items are secured correctly during transit.
- Deliver orders professionally while providing excellent customer service.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects immediately.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding delivery progress or any issues.
- Support warehouse operations, including stock movement and general housekeeping when required.
- Follow all road traffic laws, health and safety procedures, and company policies.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence (Category B).
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred but not essential.
- Experience driving 3.5-tonne vehicles is advantageous.
- Comfortable using a tail lift (training can be provided if required).
- Physically fit and capable of safely lifting and moving heavy items.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
- Able to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
