Production Operative – Fortress Diagnostics Limited

Job Summary:
As a Production Operative, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality production standards and efficiency in all tasks. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Dispensing and labelling products with precision and attention to detail.
- Accurately completing required documentation and paperwork to ensure compliance with production standards.
- Coordinating and communicating effectively with internal departments to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Assisting the production team in various operational tasks to meet production targets.
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency .
- Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
- Operating production machinery and equipment safely and effectively (training provided if necessary).
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of the production area.
- Performing heavy lifting and physical tasks as required.
- Taking on any additional duties assigned by the Production Manager or Line Manager.
Skills & Requirements:
We are looking for individuals with the following attributes:
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and a proactive approach to work.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills to complete paperwork and understand work instructions.
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written) to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- A hardworking and committed attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Physically fit with the ability to perform tasks that involve prolonged standing and heavy lifting.
- Flexible and available for overtime when required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
