We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our growing team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone ready to step up and help deliver outstanding service across commercial and public sector sites.
The Role
As a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will lead a small team while working alongside them to complete scheduled maintenance across multiple sites. You’ll be responsible for quality, safety, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a small team carrying out grounds maintenance tasks including:
- Grass cutting
- Hedge trimming
- Weed control
- Seasonal works
- Follow daily schedules across regular sites, working to boundary plans and client specifications
- Operate and maintain a range of machinery (zero-turn mowers, flails, Scags, strimmers, etc.)
- Keep your vehicle and equipment clean, safe, and ready for daily use
- Take responsibility for site standards, team performance, and health & safety compliance
- Complete site reports and communicate using mobile apps and WhatsApp
- Deliver high standards of presentation and customer service at all times

Working Hours
- Summer: 42.5 hours per week
- Winter: 37.5 hours per week
Requirements
- Clean UK Drivers Licence
- Minimum 1 year experience within the grounds industry.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
