We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-driven Junior Town Planner to join our Planning & Development team. This role is perfect for someone 1-3 years into their planning career who wants to gain hands-on experience across residential and mixed-use development projects while working closely with senior planners.
You’ll gain exposure to the full planning process—from site research and policy analysis to assisting with planning applications and liaising with consultants and local authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation and submission of planning applications
- Assist with planning research, site appraisals, and policy review
- Prepare draft planning statements, reports, and supporting documents
- Liaise with local authority officers, stakeholders, and external consultants
- Monitor changes in planning policy and local development frameworks
- Attend internal project meetings and assist senior team members
- Maintain organised project files and documentation
About You:
- Degree in Town Planning
- Strong interest in planning, sustainability, and the built environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
