Duties
- Safely handle materials during loading, unloading, and storage, utilizing mechanical knowledge and equipment such as forklifts when certified.
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements accurately and efficiently.
- Pick and pack orders with precision to meet shipping deadlines, ensuring products are prepared correctly for dispatch.
- Stock shelves and storage areas systematically, maintaining organized and accessible inventory.
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing goods to uphold product standards.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying shipments against documentation and inspecting for damages or discrepancies.
- Load and unload trucks safely, using appropriate manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks.
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; we value motivated individuals eager to learn.
- Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is advantageous; certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of warehouse management systems or inventory software enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with tools can be beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
