Hotel Assistant - Mornings and Early Afternoons

Douneside House is looking for a reliable and hardworking Seasonal Hotel Assistant to join our friendly team in Tarland on a zero hour contract to support busy and peak trading periods.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in hospitality, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is happy working across both guest service and housekeeping duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing breakfast service for hotel guests
- Preparing and maintaining public areas to a high standard
- Housekeeping duties across guest bedrooms and holiday cottages
- Cleaning and servicing shared public spaces throughout the hotel
- Supporting the wider hotel team to ensure an excellent guest experience
Working Hours
- Morning shifts finishing in the early afternoon
- Shifts available across weekdays and weekends
- Hours offered during busy and peak periods
- Flexibility is essential
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be friendly, professional, and dependable
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Be able to maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards
- Previous hospitality or housekeeping experience is helpful but not essential
