Hourly salary: An OTE Hourly Rate of £17.50 per hour
Early mornings, big flavour, and a kitchen that sets the tone for the whole day.
We are looking for a Part-Time Breakfast Chef to join the team at EVE, the vibrant, Mediterranean-inspired restaurant at Ember Locke Kensington. This is a genuine opportunity to own a service, work with brilliant produce, and be home by early afternoon, all while cooking in one of West London's most design-led dining rooms.
EVE sits within White Rabbit Hospitality, the hotel and restaurant division behind Rusacks St Andrews, The Randolph Oxford, Graduate Cambridge, Ember Locke Kensington, Locke Canary Wharf and Locke Lisbon. We are part of White Rabbit Projects, a hospitality incubator with a simple ambition, to be the world's leading hospitality incubator, and a simple ethos, work hard and be kind.
Breakfast at EVE is not an afterthought. It is a proper service with a proper menu, seasonal, Mediterranean-leaning and cooked to order, served to hotel guests and Kensington locals who know where to find a good plate of eggs. You will run it with a small, tight team and a Head Chef who will back you, train you and give you room to bring your own ideas to the pass.
Our people are the reason our kitchens work. We look for chefs who understand that hospitality is at our core, who do the right thing when nobody is checking, who pursue excellence on the two hundredth cover as much as the first, and who think and act like entrepreneurs in their own section.
HOSPITALITY IS AT OUR CORE. You cook for people, not for tickets. You understand that a guest's first meal of the day sets up everything that follows.
WE DO THE RIGHT THING. You hold the line on hygiene, allergens, labelling and food safety, every single shift, without shortcuts.
WE PURSUE EXCELLENCE. You care about the temperature of the plate, the set of the egg and the consistency of the last cover as much as the first.
WE ARE ALL ENTREPRENEURS. You spot the waste, the better prep method or the specials idea, and you speak up.

Breakfast is where a lot of great chefs build their foundations, and it is also where we spot the people we want to grow. With hotels and restaurants across the UK and Lisbon, and new openings on the horizon, there is real scope here to move into a Chef de Partie role, take on more sections, or step across to another site within the group. If you want a part-time role that still counts as a career, this is it.
