Camp Elite Ltd is expanding its after-school club team and is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and confident instructors to deliver exciting enrichment activities to children aged 4–12 years old.
We are recruiting instructors for:
- Arts & Crafts
- LEGO
- Science & Construction
- Taekwondo
- Football
- Basketball
You may apply to deliver one or more of the above activities depending on your experience, interests and skills.
What will I be expected to do?
All sessions are planned and resourced by Camp Elite Ltd, allowing instructors to focus on providing an engaging, safe and enjoyable experience for the children.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering the planned after-school club session.
- Arriving promptly and being ready for the session.
- Completing and maintaining an accurate register of attendees.
- Carrying out a risk assessment of the classroom, hall, playground or other space being used before the session begins.
- Ensuring equipment and resources are used safely.
- Providing encouragement, praise and support to all children.
- Creating an inclusive environment where every pupil feels able to participate.
- Following the Camp Elite behaviour management system consistently.
- Managing behaviour positively and professionally.
- Ensuring children remain supervised throughout the session.
- Leaving the activity area safe, tidy and organised at the end of the club.
Who are we looking for?
We would love to hear from candidates who are:
- Enthusiastic about working with children.
- Confident leading groups of KS1 and KS2 pupils.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Able to communicate clearly and positively with children.
- Comfortable following prepared lesson/session plans.
- Able to promote positive behaviour and participation.
- Passionate or experienced in one or more of the activities listed above.
Priority will be given to candidates who:
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS Certificate.
- Have previous experience working with children aged 4–12.
- Have coaching, teaching, childcare, youth work or activity-instructor experience.
- Have relevant qualifications or experience within their chosen activity.
