We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in commercial environments, including offices, retail spaces, and other public areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas regularly
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks to the supervisor
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning standards are maintained
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting during cleaning routines
