About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Bar & Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Moor View Golf Centre.
Working within our clubhouse, you will play an important role in providing excellent food and beverage service to our guests and visitors. The role is varied and fast-paced, covering both bar and kitchen duties, particularly during busy periods including competitions, functions and social events.
Key Responsibilities
Bar & Front of House
- Provide friendly, efficient and professional service to customers.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including draught beer, wines, spirits, soft drinks and hot beverages.
- Take food and drink orders and process payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming bar and clubhouse environment.
- Restock bar supplies and monitor stock levels.
- Ensure licensing, hygiene and responsible alcohol service requirements are followed.
Kitchen & Food Service
- Assist with food preparation and service as required.
- Prepare and serve simple meals, snacks and refreshments to a high standard.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures at all times.
- Keep kitchen areas, equipment and preparation surfaces clean and organised.
- Assist with stock rotation, deliveries and storage.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods and help with buffets for functions.
Functions & Events
- Provide excellent service during golf functions and private events.
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables and event areas.
- Be flexible and willing to support colleagues across the bar, kitchen and clubhouse when required.
Golf Range
- Assisting customers with golf ball sales and club rentals, providing knowledgeable service.
- Maintaining a clean driving range through regular basket collections and restocking shelves with golf balls.
- Keeping checks to make sure customers endure to health and safety rules to make an enjoyable experience to all visiting.

We are looking for someone who:
- Has a friendly, approachable and professional manner.
- Enjoys working with people and providing excellent customer service.
- Is reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- Can remain calm and organised during busy periods.
- Has good attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
- Is flexible regarding working hours, including evenings, weekends and event days.
- Has previous hospitality, bar or kitchen experience, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
