Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook authentic English breakfast items including eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, and toast with attention to quality and presentation
- Ensure all food is prepared according to established recipes and standards while maintaining high levels of food safety and hygiene
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of hot, fresh meals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Assist in meal planning and ingredient preparation to support smooth kitchen operations
- Serve breakfast dishes with professionalism and friendly service, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs for replenishment to ensure continuous availability of menu items
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food safety standards
- Experience working with breakfast or brunch menus is highly desirable
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques specific to traditional English breakfast dishes
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in serving guests in a fast-paced environment is a plus
