Ballet Teaching Opportunity – Willows Dance Company
We're looking to welcome an enthusiastic and committed ballet teacher to join our friendly team at Willows Dance Company in Northfield, Birmingham.
Initially, the role would involve teaching on Monday evenings, with the potential for Saturday classes as the school continues to grow.
Whilst an RAD Registered Teacher qualification is desirable, it is not essential. What matters most is finding someone who is passionate about classical ballet, eager to learn, and committed to developing as a teacher.
As an RAD Registered Teacher, I have successfully mentored teachers through their training and would be delighted to support the right person in working towards an RAD teaching qualification. If you've been considering taking this step but haven't known where to begin, I'd love to hear from you.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent classical ballet knowledge and a genuine love of teaching.
- Wants to inspire children and young people through dance.
- Is reliable, enthusiastic and professional.
- Is looking for a long-term teaching home where they can grow.
- Would value ongoing mentoring and professional development.
At Willows Dance Company, we believe dance is about so much more than steps and examinations. We strive to build confidence, resilience, creativity and a lifelong love of dance in every child who walks through our doors.
Our pupils are taught in a warm, encouraging environment where high standards are balanced with kindness, and where every child is supported to achieve their own potential.
If you're already teaching, or you've been thinking about taking the next step into ballet teaching and would love to be mentored towards becoming an RAD Registered Teacher, we'd love to have an informal chat.
Please send us a message telling me a little about yourself, your dance background and what you're looking for in your teaching career.
