We need van drivers, porters and 2 man crews.
Must be available to work weekends if you can't work weekends please do not apply.
This is a self employed role based on a 4 on 4 off rota with the opportunity to pick up extra shifts.
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable Van Driver & second man to join our team in the transportation and logistics industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving vans to transport goods and materials to customer's houses.
Duties:- Drive vans to transport goods between stores to customers houses.
- Load and unload items from the van, ensuring safe handling of all products
- Perform commercial driving duties adhering to road safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with customer services and customers to coordinate collection
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks via our app
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and promptly- Assist with heavy lifting when required
Skills:- Proven experience as a Van Driver or similar role- Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record- Familiarity with delivery procedures- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the job- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients- Strong organisational skills to manage collections schedules efficiently
Must have a working smart phone with data for this role
Safety boots are a must
