Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, communal areas, and facilities according to established standards
- Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas are tidy and presentable
- Perform janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Assist with laundry duties as required
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests courteously and efficiently
- Maintain organisation of cleaning supplies and equipment
Experience
- Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is advantageous
- Experience in customer service roles is desirable but not mandatory
- Cooking experience or skills can be considered a plus for roles involving additional hospitality duties
