Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in Kent. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe environment for our clients and their properties, aligning with our commitment to excellence in service.
This role is to cover sickness and holiday
Early indication averages 30 hours a week
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons at designated locations.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
- Operate surveillance equipment including CCTV systems.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies.
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to management.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities and incidents.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques.
- Certification in First Aid is preferred.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
