We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Head Door Supervisor to lead our team at a bar in Angel. Hours: Wednesday-Saturday (34 Hrs) with additional
£17.93ph (Including Holiday Pay) PAYE – Monthly pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of door supervisors, ensuring the safety and security of staff, customers, and premises.
- Oversee entry and exit points, ensuring only authorised individuals are allowed entry.
- Handle any potential conflicts or disturbances in a calm and professional manner.
- Work closely with management to ensure the security team is fully equipped and performing at their best.
- Perform ID checks and ensure compliance with venue policies and licensing laws.
- Manage crowd control and assist with maintaining order during peak hours.
- Ensure that all staff are adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Take responsibility for delegating duties and ensuring effective team communication during shifts.
- Ensure a professional, smart, and approachable image is maintained at all times.
Must have:
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor license (essential).
- Previous experience working in a security role, particularly in a bar or nightlife setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and responsible approach to work.
- Flexibility to work Friday and Saturday evenings.
- Be happy to work within the Bar/Pub environment.
- Available for weekends, bank holidays, including New Year's Eve.
- Be able to communicate and write fluently in English.
- Be reliable, smart, and professional.
