Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Estimator to join our team and play a key role in securing and delivering exciting projects across the UK.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders, carrying out site surveys, obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations, and supporting projects from initial enquiry through to handover.
You'll work closely with our Commercial and Project Teams, helping to ensure projects are delivered profitably, efficiently, and to the high standards that Jephsons Shopfitters is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare detailed estimates, quotations, and tender submissions.
- Carry out quantity take-offs and site surveys.
- Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
- Identify commercial risks and opportunities.
- Attend project meetings and support project handovers.
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Work closely with the Commercial and Project Management teams to support successful project delivery.
About You
- Proven estimating experience within shopfitting, fit-out, construction, or refurbishment.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
- Proactive, motivated, and solution-focused.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
