Job Summary: As a Supervisor, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth daily opera on of Zia Lucia. You are the link between the management team and the frontline staff, responsible for maintaining high standards of service, efficiency, and quality while embodying the brand values of authenticity, craft , and community. This is a hands-on role that involves leading by example, supporting the team, and ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience.
Leadership and Team Support
Assist in the training, mentoring, and motivation of team members to deliver exceptional service.
Supervise and guide staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations and adherence to company standards.
Act as the first point of contact for team issues or escalations, resolving them quickly or escalating to management as needed.
Ensure clear communication between the kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain efficiency.
Operational Excellence
Lead pre-shift briefings, ensuring the team is aligned on daily goals, specials, and priori es.
Oversee the floor during service, ensuring all areas operate smoothly, guests are happy, and team members are supported.
Monitor table turnover, bookings, and walk-ins to maximize restaurant capacity and efficiency.
Support opening and closing procedures, ensuring all checklists are completed and the venue is set up or closed to standard.
Customer Experience
Ensure all guests are greeted warmly, seated promptly, and provided with a friendly service including the 4Ds.
Handle customer feedback, complaints, or special requests, resolving issues efficiently and positively.
Promote the upselling of menu items, including signature doughs, drinks, dips, and desserts, to maximize sales.
Quality Control
Maintain the highest standards of food presentation, ensuring pizzas, drinks, and other menu items meet company quality expectations.
Regularly inspect the cleanliness of the restaurant, including tables, bar areas, and toilets, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
Administrative Duties
Assist with staff scheduling and managing labour costs during shifts.
Monitor stock levels during service, communicating any shortages or needs to management.
Record and report daily sales, shift notes, and performance issues to the General Manager or Assistant Manager.
Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
