Volunteer Charity Shop Assistant
Peaceful Place is a charity supporting people of working age and older who are living with dementia. Our aim is simple: to help our members live their best lives.
We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to join our well-established team at our charity shop in North Avenue, Southend.
Volunteer duties include:
- Sorting and labelling donations
- Stock rotation
- Keeping the shop clean, bright, and welcoming
- Providing great customer service

Our shop is currently open from approximately 9am - 2pm but we are looking to expand our opening days and hours, so the following shifts are available:
- 9am - 1pm (Monday - Friday)
- 12.30pm - 4.30pm (Monday - Friday)
We are in desperately need of people who can help us during weekday afternoons.
We have a friendly and welcoming team at our charity shop and we will support you as a volunteer if you choose to help us.
