Join our dynamic team as an Office Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and professional environment for staff and visitors. This role involves carrying out thorough cleaning routines across office spaces and ensuring consistently high standards of hygiene and organisation.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and can work independently to maintain a spotless and safe workplace.
Working Hours
- Monday: 4:00pm – 6:50pm
- Tuesday: 4:00pm – 6:50pm
- Thursday: 4:00pm – 6:50pm
- Friday: 11:00am – 2:50pm
- Total hours: 15 hours per week
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of office areas, including desks, conference rooms, restrooms, kitchens and communal spaces.
- Sweep, mop and vacuum floors, and carry out carpet cleaning when required.
- Use appropriate commercial cleaning equipment and cleaning products safely and effectively.
- Restock essential supplies such as paper towels, soap and bin bags.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste correctly, following recycling procedures.
- Check cleaning areas regularly and identify any areas requiring additional attention.
- Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- Work efficiently and minimise disruption to staff and visitors.
- Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the premises.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, office cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
- Good knowledge of cleaning methods and safe use of cleaning equipment and products.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting and repetitive cleaning tasks.
- Understanding of health and safety requirements relating to cleaning.
- Professional, friendly and responsible approach to work.
