DTF & DTG Printer Operator / Technician

Role Summary
Manage and operate DTF & DTG printing equipment to produce high-quality printed transfers on film for heat-press application to garments and other substrates.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and load designs for printing using RIP software.
- Set up and operate DTF & DTG printers (ink system, platen, film feed).
- Mix and load ink; monitor levels & quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
- Ensure print quality standards (colour accuracy, sharpness).
- Prepress and post-press tasks (powdering, curing, heat-press).
- Inspect finished products; handle quality issues.
- Maintain production records and report issues.
- Follow safety and housekeeping procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with DTF printing equipment preferred.
- Familiarity with graphic/design software (Adobe Illustrator, InDeisgn etc.).
- Mechanical aptitude for printer maintenance and calibration.
- Strong attention to detail and colour matching.
- Ability to work in fast-paced production environments.
- Good communication and teamwork.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with colour profiling/RIP software.
- Knowledge of heat-press settings for various materials.
