We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our team at Alpha Wholesale. You’ll play an essential role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time, using a long-wheelbase (LWB) van.
Our delivery network covers a broad area, and daily routes can vary from 200 to 400 miles, depending on customer locations and delivery volumes. You’ll benefit from our advanced route-optimisation technology, designed to make your journeys as efficient as possible so you can focus on providing excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely deliver customer orders picked and packed by the warehouse team.
- Drive a Sprinter LWB van in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner.
- Plan and complete efficient delivery routes based on workload, mileage, and traffic conditions.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service at the point of delivery.
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork or digital records.
- Maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness, safety, and roadworthiness.
What We’re Looking For
- A full, valid UK driving licence with good knowledge of Kent, London, and surrounding areas.
- Experience driving long-wheelbase vans, ideally with multi-drop delivery experience.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- A reliable, responsible, and professional approach to work.
- A solid understanding of UK roads and efficient route planning.
- Commitment to health and safety standards to protect yourself and others.
- Clean License or no more than 6 points (essential)
