Working hours for the role are Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:30pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our site in Cambridge. As Parts Advisor you will be responsible for the efficient running of a small parts department, overseeing ordering, goods inwards processing, margin management and building supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Working with estimators to order parts required for vehicle repairs
- Maintain accurate and organized parts inventory records.
- Order and receipt the materials and consumables required for the site
- Work closely with the Vehicle Damage Assessors and repair team to understand part requirements.
- Ensure we are ordering from the correct suppliers and sources in line with contractual terms and best margin options
- Foster strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality parts.
- Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Parts Advisor in the automotive industry.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive parts
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in using inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Implement quality control measures to uphold high standards.
- Proactive and dynamic approach to sourcing hard to find parts or where there are lengthy back orders

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

- Bodyshop: 1 year (preferred)
