Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, supporting food preparation, and assisting with basic cooking tasks. Responsibilities
- Washing, cleaning, and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including peeling, chopping, and organising ingredients.
- Supporting chefs with ingredient organisation and stock replenishment to maintain efficient kitchen workflow.
- Ensuring the kitchen area is kept tidy and free from hazards at all times.
- Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen appliances and surfaces regularly throughout shifts.
- Supporting the team during busy service periods by providing general assistance as required.
Skills
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene standards and health & safety regulations within a commercial kitchen setting.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail when handling cleaning tasks and food prep support.
- Flexibility to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, or early mornings as required by the establishment.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn new skills within the hospitality sector.

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
