We are looking for experienced Millwrights / Industrial Mechanical Fitters to join a major Oil, Gas & Energy project in Royston, UK. The role involves the installation and assembly of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
Location: Royston, Hertfordshire, UK
Responsibilities
- Installation and assembly of industrial machinery
- Positioning and alignment of mechanical equipment
- Installation of pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors and fans
- Precision fitting, adjustment and repair of mechanical components
- Working from technical drawings and equipment specifications
- Following site safety and quality requirements
Requirements
- Experience as a Millwright or Industrial Mechanical Fitter
- Industrial installation or maintenance experience
- Experience with machinery and rotating equipment
- Knowledge of mechanical alignment and precision fitting
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Valid UK right to work
- Good understanding of UK site health and safety requirements
Experience on power generation, renewable energy, refinery, petrochemical or other heavy industrial projects is an advantage.
