Primary PE & Sports Coach
Location: Ware, Hertford, Hertfordshire & surrounding areas
Salary: £15.00–£17.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 23 guaranteed term-time hours per week, with additional paid evening, weekend and school holiday work available.
Start Date: September 2026 (with optional paid work available during our August Holiday Camps)

Pro Development Soccer School is one of Hertfordshire's leading providers of PE, school sports and football coaching. We work with primary schools across the local area, delivering high-quality PE lessons, lunchtime clubs, after-school clubs and holiday camps that inspire children to enjoy being active.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and passionate coach to become a key part of our growing team.
The Role
Your working week will include a mixture of:
- Delivering PE lessons in primary schools
- Running morning, lunchtime and after-school clubs
- Supporting holiday football and / or multi-sport camps
- Building positive relationships with pupils, teachers and parents
- Representing Pro Development Soccer School professionally at all times
There is also the opportunity to work additional evenings, weekends and school holidays to increase your earnings.
We're looking for someone who:
- Loves working with children and helping them develop through sport.
- Is enthusiastic, reliable and professional.
- Has a recognised Level 1 coaching qualification (or equivalent).
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own vehicle.
It would be great if you also have:
- FA Level 2 / UEFA C Licence (or equivalent).
- Experience delivering PE in primary schools.
- Experience leading sports clubs or holiday camps.
Before starting with us you will need, if you don’t already have:
- Enhanced DBS check
- Safeguarding qualification
- Emergency First Aid qualification.
Support will be provided by Pro Development Soccer School where required.
