LEVEL 3 JLR VEHICLE TECHNICIAN OPPORTUNITIES
Taylors Jaguar Land Rover are recruiting additional experienced technicians to join our busy workshop teams.
BASIC SALARIES :
- JLR Level 3: Starting from £48k - £52k (DOE) + bonuses + benefits
- On-going personal development onsite and also at JLR Training Academy
TRAVEL ALLOWANCE (Considered depending on distance)

WORKING HOURS
- 42 per week. (MONDAY-FRIDAY ONLY) / 08.00-17.30 Mon-Thu , 08.00-17.00 Fri.
- Flexible working patterns will also be considered on an individual basis.
- Overtime available at enhanced rates.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A VEHICLE TECHNICIAN (LEVEL 3)
- Diagnosing, repairing and carrying out retail and warranty work on JLR vehicles to excellent high standards.
- Perform maintenance, repair and warranty work on customer vehicles.
- Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.
- Plan repair procedures using charts, manuals and experience.
- Test the functionality of parts and systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles.
- Communicating with Workshop Control and Service Advisor team .
- Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
- Adhering to manufacturer procedures and processes
Qualifications and education requirements
- JLR LEVEL 3 QUALIFIED
- We are able to provide dedicated ‘conversion’ courses for Vehicle Technicians moving to us from another brand / manufacturers.
- Possess a Full UK driving license
Experience and Skills
- Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician within an independent or main dealer workshop / garage.
- A minimum of 12 months relevant work experience within a similar environment.
- Possess a good and varied knowledge and understanding of motor vehicles
- Good verbal communication
- Professional appearance and attitude
