Summary
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting, programming and operating CNC milling and turning machines to produce high-quality precision components. Working to engineering drawings and quality standards, you will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and delivered on time. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, maintain high standards of quality and housekeeping, and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting and running all CNC Mills & Lathes & manual machines in section.
- Work with supervision to achieve on time delivery performance greater than 98%.
- Work with supervision to maximise machine utilization in relevant area
- Ensure that all cage loading charts are kept up to date and marked off when work in progress starts/finishes.
- Ensuring ALL tooling /programs are available for start of production.
- Programming of the full range of products including composite products

- Maximises machine utilisation while maintaining product quality. ·
- Produces components that meet specification with minimal scrap and rework.
- Maintains accurate production records and inspection documentation.
- Demonstrates high standards of workmanship and attention to detail. ·
- Contributes positively to team performance by supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge
- Maintains a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Demonstrates flexibility by supporting other machines, departments and shift patterns when required.

- Work in accordance with ISO 9001, AS9100, TS16949 and SC21 quality management requirements.
- Comply with all Health & Safety procedures, always wearing the appropriate PPE.
- Follow manufacturing instructions, work procedures and supervisor guidance.

- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the work area.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure production priorities are met.

- Assist with stocktaking and other operational activities when required.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties consistent with the role.
