We are looking for an experienced multi-skilled tradesperson with good plastering and rendering experience to join our team temporarily on a high-quality residential project in N6, North London.
This would suit an experienced general builder or multi-trader who is comfortable working independently and alongside an established construction team.
Main work
The work will include a mixture of:
- K-Rend / external rendering
- Plastering and making good
- Preparing surfaces for render
- General building and masonry work
- Minor carpentry and associated finishing work
- Helping with other aspects of the project as required
Previous experience applying K-Rend or similar proprietary render systems would be a strong advantage.
We are looking for somebody who is genuinely multi-skilled rather than a general labourer.
You should be
- Experienced in plastering and/or rendering
- Competent with general building work
- Able to produce a good quality finish
- Comfortable working independently
- Reliable and punctual
- Tidy and respectful when working on a residential property
- Able to work constructively as part of a small team
- Experienced in using your own trade tools
Requirements
- Self-employed / CIS registered
- UTR number
- Own hand tools appropriate to your trade
- Appropriate PPE
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous construction experience
- References or examples/photos of previous work preferred
CSCS is useful but not essential for this private residential project.
Rate
£200–£250 per day CIS, depending on experience and the range of skills you can demonstrate.
Applicants with strong K-Rend, rendering and plastering experience will be considered in preference to general skilled craftsmen.
This is initially a temporary position, although there may be further work available for the right person.
