We are looking for talented individuals to join the firm in our Attleborough team.
The Role
Our Trainee Programme is designed to provide an excellent foundation for a successful career in accountancy or tax. We are recruiting for our 2027 intake and have opportunities for Accounts and Tax trainees based at our Attleborough office.
As a trainee with M+A Partners, you will gain valuable real-world business experience while studying towards a professional qualification. Throughout your training, you will receive mentoring, coaching, and full support to develop your technical knowledge, professional skills, and personal growth.
We support our trainees through the most appropriate qualification pathway, including AAT, ACA, or ACCA. By the end of the programme, you will be fully qualified and well positioned to progress your career with M+A Partners.

For School Leavers
- Have at least 5 GCSE grades 9 - 4 or A*-C? Have a 4 / C grade or above for English and Maths at GCSE?
- Have at least 3 A*-C A Level grade pass results, or equivalent?
For Graduates
- Have at least 5 GCSE grades 9 - 4 or A*-C? Have a 4 / C grade or above for English and Maths at GCSE?
- Have at least 3 A*-C A Level grade pass results, or equivalent?
- Have at least a 2:2 degree or predicted degree? (Maths-based subject is advantageous, but not a requirement.)
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with the preparation of accounts and tax returns
- Support the completion of VAT returns and management accounts
- Work with financial and accounting data to support client requirements
- Raise queries and liaise with colleagues to resolve technical and administrative matters
- Develop knowledge of accounting, audit, and tax principles and practices
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities as experience grows
- Build practical business skills through on-the-job learning
- Complete professional studies alongside day-to-day work responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business to deliver excellent client service
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and professional team environment
- Welcome clients and visitors, providing a professional and friendly first impression.
- Prepare refreshments, ensure meeting rooms are ready for use, and notify the relevant Portfolio Holder of client arrivals.
- Provide general administrative and office support to help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
